In celebration of the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day in March 2011, the Sydney centre hosted a lunch with Carla Zampatti, Executive Chairman and her daughter Allegra Spender, General Manager of Carla Zampatti. Together, Carla and Allegra shared their advice on the skills women can focus on to have a rewarding career and how their relationship as mother and daughter has created such as successful business.
Carla Zampatti AC is Executive Chairman of Carla Zampatti Pty Limited, a Trustee of the Sydney Theatre Company Foundation Trust and a Board Member of the Australian Multicultural Foundation. Carla has been recognised with a number of Australian and international awards for achievement and excellence and also holds a number of directorships.
Allegra Spender is General Manager of Carla Zampatti Pty Ltd. She also has a passion for social issues, and seeks to use her business consulting skills to address public and social sector problems.
