We’ve acted on 90% of the kangaroo bond issues in Australia, raising more than $18b. We created the first trust “top hat” scheme for one of Australia’s largest utility funds. We changed the Electoral Act resulting in an additional 100,000 Australians casting a vote at the Federal Election.
We’re passionate about the law. We drafted legislation which formed the backbone of the Government Guarantee Scheme - essentially preventing Australia’s banking industry from failure. We also acted on the first fully-termed sale and purchase agreement for the supply of LNG from coal seam gas, and the first sale of LNG from coal seam gas into China, the fastest growing energy market in the world.
