Mallesons Stephen Jaques is advising Primary Health Care on its proposed buyout of Symbion Health.
The buyout of Symbion would help Primary Health Care to strengthen its positioning by acquiring medical centres, pathology labs and diagnostic imaging businesses and to expand its geographic coverage as well as its earning base.
Mallesons has a large team of lawyers across M&A, Litigation, Tax, Capital Markets and Financial Services advising on this unsolicited deal. The team includes David Friedlander, Nuncio D’Angelo, Jason Watts, Kate Mills, Justin Cherrington and David Eliakim.
Primary Health Care completed a successful share placement last week as the first step toward securing this deal. Mallesons has worked with the team at Primary Health Care and its financial adviser, Caliburn, on all aspects of the transaction.
