Mallesons Stephen Jaques has been awarded Australia Intellectual Property Firm of the Year at the 2007 Asialaw IP Awards. This is the third time that Mallesons has secured this prestigious award.
The Asialaw IP awards honour the top IP firms in 14 jurisdictions across the Asia Pacific region. The awards are voted by a panel of leading in-house IP lawyers.
Mallesons won the Australia award from a shortlist that included a number of leading firms.
The head of Mallesons’ Intellectual Property & Technology practice, Maurice Gonsalves, said the firm was delighted to receive the award for a third time: “We appreciate the confidence that clients have in our IP team, as evidenced by this award,” Mr Gonsalves said.
“The Mallesons team is committed to providing both technical legal excellence and outstanding client service. This award is welcome recognition of our success in delivering on these objectives.”
The award was announced at a ceremony in Hong Kong on 27 November.
