Recruitment Process

Mallesons advertises all current vacancies on our website. Using our online application system, you can view current vacancies in all groups of the firm. Our preferred method of application is via the online application system of our website. Suitably qualified candidates should apply by creating a profile and submitting an application online. The application process takes about 5-10 minutes. You are able to attach up to three documents to your application. Once your application has been submitted, suitable candidates are shortlisted by the resourcing team and the hiring manager.

When recruiting our support services staff we generally have a 2 stage interview process where initial interviews are conducted by the People & Development Manager for Support Services and second round interviews by the lawyers with whom you would be working. Interviews employ behaviorally based interview techniques and are kept relatively informal, designed to get to know the candidate in a personal sense, as well as assessing your credentials and experience. They provide an excellent opportunity for you to get to know us.

New starters spend part of their first week with Mallesons in our induction program, where you learn about the history and profile of the firm, receive training on our systems, and enjoy a welcome lunch with managers and other new starters.
