Our Hong Kong office recruits graduates from the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and other common law jurisdictions. Graduates applying for a two year training contract will have strong academic qualifications with a consistently high level of achievement. A training contract with Mallesons is conditional upon the successful completion of the PCLL course in Hong Kong. The full time study of this course begins in September and ends in June.

Each year, our Hong Kong office recruits a number of new trainees. Trainees are required by the Law Society to gain sufficient experience in at least three legal topics. As a trainee you will gain exposure to the firm’s culture, the nature of Mallesons areas of practice, and our clients. More importantly, it provides an understanding of what it is like to be a lawyer with Mallesons Stephen Jaques. You will also participate in a comprehensive training program that is designed to equip you to get the most out of your work placement in a practice group and to become familiar with the firm and how it operates.
