Our Vacation Clerkship program offers prospective clerks the opportunity to participate in a two week program in June, July or January or three week program in December. Working within a practice team under the supervision of a partner, the program will enable you to get the most out of your placement and to become familiar with the firm and how it operates. For many, the clerkship is the first stage of continuous development at Mallesons.

Through the training component of the seasonal clerkship program, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical expertise, business focus and client services skills. By the end of the clerkship, you will have:

- a clear understanding of the key aspects of the firm’s philosophy, structure, client base and procedures;

- a broad overview of the nature of the legal work conducted in each of the firm’s practice groups;

- used your skills and the information learnt to get the most out of your work experience with us; and

- the ability to transfer the knowledge and practical skills gained at Mallesons to university activities and tasks.

Mallesons also has a fun social element to the program which is a great opportunity to meet our partners and staff. You will have the opportunity to come to firm social events as well as participate in various social activities arranged as a part of the program.
