Confirming its pre-eminence in Australia, Mallesons Stephen Jaques has been awarded ‘Best Law Firm’ at THC Press’ inaugural Australian Law Awards, held last night at the Westin Hotel in Sydney.

The firm also won the prestigious award for best M&A practice, as well as awards for Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Tax & Trusts and Managing Partner.

Mallesons Stephen Jaques’ six awards were the most for the evening.

The awards, sponsored by Morgan & Banks, were the first of their kind to be held in Australia, and in the lead up to the event were billed as the ‘Oscars of the legal profession’.
