Mallesons Stephen Jaques' client service has been recognised by CFO magazine and the International Law Office.
CFO magazine has acknowledged Mallesons' client service at the 2005 presentation of its annual Awards. In nominating Mallesons as its "Corporate Legal Services Firm of the Year", CFO noted the firm was a "clear winner" in this category and praised its "strong client service" ethic and "continued investment in improving client relationship management". A profile of Mallesons Stephen Jaques is included in the October 2005 edition of CFO magazine.
Mallesons Stephen Jaques has also won the International Law Office Client Choice Award 2005 for Australia.
According to ILO, "...the Client Choice Awards recognise those firms around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. The criteria for the awards focussed on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' business above and beyond other players in the market."
Firms were assessed on the following criteria: quality of legal advice; value for money; commercial awareness; effective communication; billing transparency; tailored fee structures; depth of team; response time; sharing of expertise; and the use of technology. Winners were chosen by corporate counsel across 34 jurisdictions worldwide.
The ILO awards ceremony was staged in Prague, coinciding with the annual meeting of the International Bar Association.
Mallesons' Chief Executive Robert Milliner said: "It is pleasing to be recognised for our client service, however, we take nothing for granted.
