Mallesons Stephen Jaques has won the prestigious International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Award for Australia. This is the second consecutive year that Mallesons has won the award, which is based exclusively on surveys of in-house counsel around Australia.
The International Law Office surveys law firms in 48 jurisdictions and selects only one firm from each country.
The ILO says that winning firms are distinguished by their ability to add real value to their clients' business, above and beyond their competitors. The specific criteria on which firms are assessed include:
- quality of legal advice
- value for money
- commercial awareness
- effective communication
- billing transparency
- tailored fee structures
- depth of team
- response time
- sharing of expertise
- use of technology
Mallesons’ Chief Executive Partner Robert Milliner said: "It’s very pleasing for the firm to receive the ILO Client Choice Award for the second year running, particularly as it is voted by in-house counsel. We work very hard to deliver legal and service excellence to our clients and value their feedback.
"This award provides an objective measure that our efforts are resonating with clients and we are grateful for their support."
