Mallesons Stephen Jaques is one of only two Australian law firms to be shortlisted for Australia Tax Firm of the Year at the International Tax Review’s Asia Tax Awards 2008. The firm was also shortlisted in three other categories.
The awards recognise excellence and innovation within client work in Asia.
Mallesons’ four nominations are:
- Australia Tax Firm of the Year
- Australia Tax Controversy Firm of the Year
- Hong Kong Tax Controversy Firm of the Year, and
- Asia Tax Controversy Firm of the Year.

Firms are selected from 11 jurisdictions: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
The awards will be held on November 26th at the Island Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.
