Aaron Bourke is a partner in the Banking and Finance team in the Brisbane office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He specialises in corporate, project, equipment and property finance and financial regulatory compliance. Aaron also practices in the area of credit restructurings and insolvency.
Aaron has worked on project financing for Horizon Oil, Central Queensland Port Authority and Pan Aust Limited. He has advised on corporate financings for CMI Limited, Warner Bros Movie World, Sea World, Downer EDI, Industrea Limited, Worley Parsons Limited and Australian Agricultural Company. Aaron has worked on property and construction transactions involving the Soul tower on the Gold Coast, the Mirage Resorts and the Green Island Resort.
His experience in credit restructures and insolvency includes credit restructures and related work involving Raptis, Octaviar entities, HMP Group and ABC Learning. Aaron has drafted a complete package of retail and commercial documents for Bank of Queensland and advised on regulatory and integration issues.
Aaron acts for both financiers and borrowers.
