  • Adam is a front-end construction partner in our Sydney office.

    Adam specialises in construction law and in all aspects of the negotiation, documentation and administration of major construction, PPP infrastructure, civil engineering, residential, resources, power, facilities management and maintenance projects.

    Adam has worked throughout Australia and in Asia, North America and Europe and has extensive experience in organising project and contract structures, developing procurement systems and advising on related security documentation.

    Chambers Global 2012 has said Adam excels at meeting very tough deadlines in complex issues.

    Adam is rated for front-end constructio matters, APL 500, 2010/2011

    In ALB's Guide to Construction Law 2009, Adam was recommended for his front-end negotiating work.

  • Acting for Y22 on the construction arrangements for the Parc 1 commercial precinct in Seoul South Korea including two commercial office towers, a seven storey shopping mall and an international hotel (2010)
  • Investa in relation to the design and construction of the Ark commercial tower in North Sydney and related fit-out arrangements with Coca Cola and Vodafone Hutchison Australia. This building has a 6 Star Green Star Office Design rating which represents 'World Leadership' in environmentally sustainable design (2007-2010)
  • Sydney Water on the design and construction arrangements for its new Parramatta Headquarters, a five star green star building incorporating features such as chilled beams and a blackwater treatment plant (2007)
  • Australand on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects and preparation of its national pro forma documentation for civil works, construction and design and construction projects (2005-2010)
  • Northern Territory Government on the design and construct contract (and sub-contract) for the community infrastructure part of the Darwin Waterfront and Convention Centre Redevelopment (2005-2008)
  • Willoughby Council on the re-development of its Civic Place comprising a new library, concert hall, theatre and commercial developments (2007-2010)
  • Department of Commerce on the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Parramatta Justice Precinct including new Department of Justice building, new Trial Courts, new Children's Court and refurbished Health buildings (2004-2008)
  • Austcorp in relation to the design and construction of the Brisbane Vision tower project incorporating major retail, residential and commercial components over 79 levels (2005-2009)
  • Financiers of the Q1 residential and resort tower on the Gold Coast (the world's tallest residential tower at the time)
  • Lend Lease on a large variety of design and construct arrangements for retail and commercial developments including flexible fitout arrangements (2007-2010)
  • GE Real Estate on the procurement arrangements and documents for many commercial development projects (2006-2010)

  • The successful proponent for the SA Schools PPP Project in relation to all design, construction and facilities management arrangements for the SA Schools PPP Project (2008-2009)
  • Financiers to Reliance Rail's successful bid for the NSW Rolling Stock PPP Project (2005-2009). This involves the delivery of the 626 carriages - the largest rolling stock order ever ordered by an Australian rail operator and also includes a 30-year contract to maintain the fleet and the associated design, construction and maintenance of a state-of- the-art maintenance facility
  • Lake Bonney Windpower in relation to procurement, construction, operation and maintenance contracts for its wind farms and associated infrastructure (2002-2008)
  • Preparation of contracts for and advice regarding BlueScope Steel's procurement and construction projects
  • Delta Electricity on its proposed EPC arrangements for the Mt Piper Power Station Upgrade (2006-2007)
