  • Linda Johnson is a Partner in our Sydney office where she specialises in Dispute Resolution in the areas of banking and insolvency.

    Linda advises creditors, receivers, liquidators and administrators on all aspects of insolvency administrations and has acted for many of the major banks.

    In Chambers Global Guide 2009 Linda is described as "a strong player and a really hard worker". She has been nominated as a leading individual in the area of Restructuring & Insolvency by Chambers Global Guide 2009, PLC Which Lawyer 2009 and APL 500 2008/09.

  • Acting for Permanent Custodians Limited in respect of litigation commenced by Reliance Rail Pty Limited
  • Advising in respect of ASIC Notices and investigation generally
  • Acting for the Alinta Energy Group in relation to a complex schemes of arrangement and trust schemes (including liaising with ASIC in respect of the schemes and other matters)
  • Acting for Octaviar Investment Management Limited, the responsible entity for the Premium Income Fund in respect of issues affecting the fund (including ASIC matters)
  • Acting for the receivers and National Australia Bank Limited in relation to the King Bros Bus Group (including in respect of the police and receivers investigations into the affairs of King Bros)
  • Acting for the receivers of Airport Link Company Limited, the operator of four stations between Sydney and City
  • Advising financiers in relation to the administration of the Pasminco Group
  • Advising numerous lessors and financiers in relation to the administration of Ansett Group
  • Advising lessors, reinsurers and others on the provisional liquidation and liquidation of the HIH Group
  • Acting for creditors and reinsurers in relation to the administration and liquidation of New Cap Reinsurance
  • Advising numerous creditors on the collapse of the OneTel Group
  • Acting for PricewaterhouseCoopers in relation to the receivership of the STP Group
