Leslie Tilly is Trade Marks Counsel in the Sydney office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques, where she specialises in trade mark law. Her practice focuses on trade marks, trade mark practices, domain names and related intellectual property law. She has extensive experience both in the United States and Australia in representing and counselling a diverse range of clients in these areas.

Leslie has experience managing trade mark portfolios worldwide and regularly counsels clients on Australian and global clearance, prosecution, acquisition, management, licensing and enforcement of trade marks and related intellectual property, such as domain names and copyright.

She has extensive experience in building and protecting brands worldwide, which is instrumental to her opinion work and development of strategic trade mark and domain name policies and programs for clients. Leslie handles all aspects of complex intellectual property issues, such as due diligence and licensing. She counsels clients in leveraging and maximising their intellectual property assets, and has also counselled clients in developing anti-counterfeiting programs.
