 Professional Biography

 
  • Mark Weber is a Partner in the Canberra office of King & Wood Mallesons where he specialises in administrative law, sports law and contracting in the defence, aerospace and technology fields. Mark has extensive experience within government, having worked as a lawyer at the Public Service Board, as a broadcasting and telecommunications lawyer at the Department of Communications and at the Attorney-General's Department advising the Department of Defence on major procurement projects. Mark is experienced in the development, review and amendment of legislation as a result of his work with the Department of Communications and his subsequent work for statutory agencies which are clients of the Firm. He has advised the Australian Sports Commission over many years including in relation to the development and implementation of its drugs policy.
