Based in Sydney, he was a Managing Partner and was also the practice team leader of the Banking and Finance practice team and a specialist in securitisation and structured finance. With extensive expertise in mortgage and asset backed securitisation, he acted for issuers, originators and arrangers of programs in the Australian, Euro and US bond and commercial paper markets.

Stuart continues to be recognised as one of the few market leading lawyers in securitisation and structured finance with exceptional commercial and legal skills. As a result, he has been involved in the vast majority of securitisation transactions undertaken in all asset classes in the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets over the past ten years.
