Yuen-Yee Cho is a Partner in the Banking and Finance team in the Sydney office of King & Wood Mallesons. She specialises in acquisition financings, project and infrastructure finance and general corporate finance. Yuen-Yee is the Global Practice Coordinator for Banking & Finance for the KWM network.
Yuen-Yee's 2013 transactions include advising the Banks on refinancings for Origin Energy $7.4bn and Link Market Services $710m and acquisition financings for OTPP/Nextgen, M2 Telecommunications/Dodo and Eftel, Ironbridge/Bravura P2P and Quadrant Private Equity on the Virtus IPO financing and the acquisition financing of Estia Health.
Yuen-Yee has been ranked a leading practitioner in Banking & Finance/Acquisition Finance in Chambers' Global Guide to the Legal Profession 2013, Best Lawyers in Australia 2008-13, PLC Which Lawyer, Asian Legal Business's Legal Who's Who and Guide to the World's Leading Banking Lawyers 2012.

Yuen-Yee lectures in undergraduate and postgraduate finance law at the University of New South Wales and has written chapters for the Australian Finance Law textbook (6th edn). She was a speaker at the International Bar Association / Law Council of Australia private equity conference in April 2008, the IBA Private Equity Symposium in London in December 2011 and the Banking & Financial Services Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (BFSLA) conference in 2013.
