Worked with our Hong Kong office in relation to an internal reorganisation and external refinancing of London’s Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel.

Provided advice on the proposed acquisition by Barclays PLC of ABN AMRO’s Australian business.

Allco Finance Group

Acted for Allco in the acquisition and financing of 10 aircraft and continue to act for it in the European aviation business.

Allco Finance Group

Acted for Allco in the acquisition of a 50% interest in an Italian LPG company.

Kangaroo bonds and Eurobonds

Established several new programmes for overseas issuers into the Australian domestic market (kangaroo bonds) and assisted a number of prospectus directive compliant listings in London and elsewhere on exchanges in Europe. Also involved with further hybrid products for Australian issuers or for foreign issuers into the domestic market.
