Professional biography
Tony Troiani is a partner in the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he specialises in insolvency and commercial dispute resolution, particularly in the areas of banking, contract disputes and professional negligence.
His work involves all forms of commercial dispute resolution, including litigation in all court jurisdictions, negotiation and mediation.
Tony's work in the area of insolvency has included advice to debtors, advice to creditors regarding possible recovery actions, priority disputes, asset tracing, constructive trust claims, corporations law applications, injunctions, contract disputes and liquidator recovery actions such as voidable transactions and attacks on phoenix structures.
Tony's experience includes advice to administrators and all forms of administration appointments including liquidators, provisional liquidators, receivers and managers, agents for mortgagee and voluntary administrators.
Tony has been nominated as aleading individual in the area of Restructuring and Insolvency by IFLR 1000 2008/2009. APL 500 2008 also rates Tony highly and he is recommended by Chambers Global Guide 2008 and 2009.
