Professional biography
Ben Luscombe is a partner in the Dispute Resolution team in the Perth office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He has practiced as a lawyer in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia in a career spanning more than 20 years. During that time he has advised national and international clients on dispute resolution and commercial issues arising in all the states and territories of Australia.
Ben's dispute resolution practice focuses on telecommunications and on disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, as well as general dispute resolution. His expertise also extends to IP law, construction law and corporate restructuring.
Ben has extensive experience representing clients in the resources sector (both oil and gas and hard rock). He acted in the resolution of claims totalling in excess of $350M made in connection with the Mt Todd Gold Project in the Northern Territory. He has appeared in a wide variety of courts and tribunals.
