Professional biography
Joanne Cameron is a partner in our Melbourne office where she specialises in large scale and complex commercial litigation including contract, trade practices, banking, finance and fraud.
She advises extensively on regulatory (ASIC and APRA), corporations and insolvency related matters. She regularly represents clients at ASIC examinations in relation to regulatory investigations, particularly insider trading. As well as her litigation practice, Joanne provides strategic advice to clients on a range of commercial matters in which disputes are anticipated.
Joanne has a significant involvement in alternative dispute resolution processes, particularly mediation. She is an accredited mediator. She plays a lead role in the expansion of our Dispute Resolution practice in Asia and in the development of the firm's practice in international commercial arbitration.
