Professional biography
Joshua Cole is a partner in our Melbourne office where he practices in mergers and acquisitions and general commercial law.
Josh has advised on a number of Australian and international acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, particularly in the telecommunications and energy sectors.
He advises on private and public M&A transactions, including the establishment of Telstra's 3G infrastructure joint venture with Hutchison, the recent establishment of a joint venture between BG Group and Queensland Gas Corporation and the subsequent on-market takeover of Queensland Gas by BG.
Josh also provides advice to corporations and boards on corporate governance matters and is currently advising on a number of issues arising from the current credit crisis.
