John Edstein

John Edstein is a partner in the Sydney office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he specialises in superannuation, taxation and life insurance. John is Practice Team Leader for the firm's Tax practice.

John's practice includes:

• trust, regulatory and tax advice for major superannuation funds

• trust and tax advice for trusts generally, and

• tax and regulatory advice for life companies in relation to policies, policyholders, management of statutory funds and distribution matters.

John is a published author and a frequent public speaker for universities, financial institutions and industry associations.
