John's practice concentrates on the taxation aspects of Financial Services and Capital Markets transactions and products (including securities lending and repos, other equity, debt, hybrid, swaps and other derivative products, securitisation and aspects of global trading), retail financial products, structured (i.e. tax based) financings, floats, and corporate and business acquisitions and disposals.
