Katherine Forrest is a partner in the Banking and Finance practice in the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques. She practices primarily in retail financial services, payments law and e-commerce.
Her experience in retail financial services includes advising major financial institutions on the Financial Services Reform Act, electronic banking and payment systems, smart card and co-branded and other loyalty card schemes, privacy, consumer credit legislation and documentation, outsourcing and consumer credit insurance products.
Katherine has advised major financial institutions and corporations on the effect of new private sector privacy provisions. She has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
