Professional biography
Mark Upfold is a partner in the Sydney office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he specialises in PPP/PFI, infrastructure, water, project financing, energy and resources, privatisation and complex financing transactions.
Mark led the Mallesons team on the successful bid for the Royal North Shore Hospital PPP in 2008 and the team on the financing of the A$3.6 billion NSW RailCorp Rolling Stock PPP which achieved financial close in December 2006.
According to Chambers Global Guide 2009 Mark is "very knowledgeable, dedicated and intelligent and is rated extremely highly for his expertise in complex financing deals, infrastructure, water and energy projects."
He has been nominated in the area of Projects by Chambers Global Guide 2009.
