Nuncio D'Angelo

Nuncio D'Angelo is a Partner in the Sydney Centre of Mallesons Stephen Jaques, where he practices in the Banking & Finance Group. Nuncio's expertise extends across all types of corporate funding arrangements and private equity/leveraged financings, as well as corporate rescue and insolvency work-outs (in each case acting for both financiers and corporates), and distressed debt trading. Nuncio is originally from the firm's Sydney Centre but has spent 3 years in our Melbourne practice as well as 6 years altogether (in 2 separate stints) in the UK. One of these stints was a 3 year secondment as Regional General Counsel for the European operations of a major Australian banking and financial services group.

Nuncio has published and lectured extensively in stamp duty and banking & finance law and lectures in post-graduate finance law at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney.

He has been recommended in the 2009 edition of the Guide to the World's Leading Banking Lawyers produced by Euromoney's Legal Media Group.
