Professional biography
Robyn Chalmers is a Partner in the Sydney office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where she specialises in insurance and commercial and product liability litigation.
Robyn was admitted as the first female partner of Mallesons Stephen Jaques in 1984. She was Chairman of the firm from 2002 to 2005. She was elected to the Management Board of the partnership in 1997 before standing down in 2005. She has been a member of the Committee which considers candidates for admission to the partnership since 1994 and of the Graduate Recruitment Committee since 1998. She is also a member of the Board Sub-Committee on People.
Robyn has more than 25 years of experience conducting civil litigation in the District, Supreme and Federal Courts. She has experience in the ares of contract, tort, professional negligence, product liability, industrial accident and building disputes.
Robyn has been named a "Leading Individual" for "Life Sciences - product liability" and "Highly Recommended" for "Dispute resolution" in the most recent Global Counsel 3000. Robyn is also a trained mediator.
