Professional biography
Rob Lilburne is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team in our Perth office, specialising in labour law. He particularly advises on industrial and employment law strategies, contracts of employment, awards, industrial agreements, OH&S, welfare and equal opportunity matters.
Rob's work involves all forms of dispute resolution, including mediation, conciliation and arbitration. He acted for BHP Billiton Iron Ore in relation to the introduction of individual agreements.
Rob advised WMC Resources on its introduction of 12 hour shifts. He also advised Westralian Sands on human resources and industrial relations issues in its $1.4 billion merger with RGC to form Iluka Resources.
Rob has been recommended by Chambers Global Guide 2009 in Employment and is described as having "outstanding knowledge of all aspects of the field, and he is very well connected and offers sound practical advice".
