Professional biography
Simon Lee is a partner in the Dispute Resolution team in the Perth office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques, where he specialises in construction and engineering law. He advises on tender and contract negotiations and documentation, financial matters concerning construction and engineering projects, contract administration and risk analysis, assessment and management.
Simon has particular expertise in all forms of construction dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, adjudication, expert determination and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has experience in all types of construction disputes, from contractual and non-contractual claims to business interruption and economic loss claims.
Simon has acted for an airport on all of its construction matters, including property development and the upgrading and expansion of airport operations. He has also acted for an international mining company on the delivery of major refinery and smelter projects.
