Professional biography
Stephen Davis is a Partner in the Property, Construction and Environment practice in the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
He has a diverse practice, providing legal and strategic advice to boards of directors and senior management in the Asia Pacific region on complex environmental, planning and native title matters arising from new property or infrastructure projects, ongoing operations or mergers and acquisitions.
Stephen advises on environmental risk allocation in M&A deals, planning and environmental approvals and appeals. His work also encompasses relationships with environmental action groups, disaster management and environmental impact assessment, as well as ensuring that corporates and their directors and managers can establish due diligence in the environmental context.
Stephen has been nominated as a leading individual (band 1) in Environment by Chambers Global Guide 2009, and also by PLC Which Lawyer? 2009.
