Professional biography
Stuart Fuller is a Managing Partner, Practice, at Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
Based in Sydney, Stuart is responsible for the Mergers & Acquisitions, Dispute Resolution and Property, Construction and Environment practice teams. In addition, he is currently the Firm's Client Relationship Partner for the Allco Finance Group and the General Electric Corporation group.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Partner, Stuart was the practice team leader of the banking and finance practice team and a specialist in securitisation and structured finance. With extensive expertise in mortgage and asset backed securitisation, he acted for issuers, originators and arrangers of programs in the Australian, Euro and US bond and commercial paper markets.
Stuart continues to be recognised as one of the few market leading lawyers in securitisation and structured finance with exceptional commercial and legal skills. As a result, he has been involved in the vast majority of securitisation transactions undertaken in all asset classes in the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets over the past ten years.
Stuart has been ranked as one of Australia's leading individuals in the area of Structured Finance and Securitisation by Legal Media Group's Guides to the World's Leading Lawyers 2007. He has also been nominated as a leading individual in the area of Securitisation by IFLR 1000 (2007-09), in Capital Markets-Debt by PLC Which Lawyer? 2009 and he has a band 1 ranking in Securitisaton by Chambers Global Guide 2009.
