Professional biography
Simone Menz is a Partner in the Development Projects and Property Investment group in our Melbourne office. Her principal area of practice is property law, particularly large scale and complex property projects and developments. Her expertise includes advising in respect of structuring and titling issues, due diligence, tender processes and responses to requests for tender in a competitive bid context, joint ventures and co-ownership arrangements, native title and other land access issues and the GST, stamp duty and IFRS issues associated with property projects and investments.
Simone has a national practice and acts for many Australian listed property trusts in their investment, development and asset management activities throughout Australia. In recent times Simone has also assisted those property trusts in both their offshore property investment activities, and in the acquisition of Australian property assets for their offshore vehicles.
Simone also provides property and titling advice to other entities with significant property requirements, including in the context of PPPs, infrastructure projects and mergers and acquisitions.
