Professional biography
Tim Blue is a Partner in our Sydney office. He specialises in the following areas:
- mergers and acquisitions
- securities law and capital raisings
- formation of private and public investment entities, including REITs and property funds
- structuring and promotion of financial products
- directors’ duties, corporate governance and ASX compliance.
Tim's practice covers all mainstream corporate and securities matters, domestic and international, and he has extensive experience in the structuring, formation and promotion of private and public investment entities in Australia and offshore and in mergers and acquisitions transactions involving the financial services, banking, funds and insurance sectors.
Tim has acted as issuer's counsel on several of the largest property trust IPOs in Australia and more recently has played a key role in a number of major capital raisings, including as lead partner on the A$550 million IPO of the listed cashbox Allco Equity Partners and the A$1.8 billion IPO of Spark Infrastructure Group.
He has been "highly recommended" in Investment funds by PLC Which Lawyer 2008/2009.
