Professional biography
Thomas Jones is a Special Counsel in the Sydney office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he specialises in access to regulated infrastructure with a particular focus on telecommunication networks and airports. He has extensive experience advising on telecommunications law and regulation throughout the Asia-Pacific region and has acted for Sydney Airport on access issues.
Thomas has particular expertise in contentious matters. He co-authored the chapter on access issues in a leading Australian textbook on telecommunications law and has appeared before the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Australian Competition Tribunal in relation to access disputes and applications for exemption from access obligations.
