 Professional Biography

 
  • Frank Brody is a partner in our Melbourne office where he advises on the GST, on stamp duties Australia-wide and on other state and territory taxes. Both his GST practice and his stamp duty practice are focused on the more difficult and sophisticated sectors of the market.

    Frank brings to his practice an expertise gained from over 30 years' experience in government at senior levels and in the private sector. He has has excellent contacts within the state and territory revenue offices.

    Frank's approach to tax matters is to provide advice that is not only technically correct, but also commercially right for his client. He enjoys being able to determine where a client might have a problem or can gain an advantage, even when the client might not have realised such problems or advantages exist.

    He has presented several technical papers at stamp duty conferences and Taxation Institute conferences.
