Product Rationalisation - Treasury has released submissions - 8 February 2008

Treasury has released 17 of the 20 submissions it received in response to its product rationalisation issues paper.

There was strong support for the self assessment option (option 3) and unanimous support for an ongoing product rationalisation process.

Treasury has promised a detailed proposal in the next few weeks.
