The firm has once again been named an Employer of Choice for Women by the Federal Government’s Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA). This marks the fourth consecutive year Mallesons has been recognised for its efforts in providing Equal Opportunity (EO) programs that promote the advancement of our female partners and employees.
Mallesons ' partner Nicola Wakefield-Evans has been named one of Australia's top 50 leading women in business at the Advance Women's Leadership Summit this month. The only lawyer recognised, Wakefield-Evans was among 200 women who attended the summit which highlighted the achievements of the 50 current and emerging leaders in Australia, coinciding with International Women's Day.
Mallesons Engaging Womens Program opened for 2011 with events across a number of Centres, including Our Perth centre which sponsored the Women Lawyers of WA Honours Dinner which acknowledges the contribution of extraordinary women lawyers in WA.
Mallesons' Chief Executive Partner Robert Milliner is a strong advocate for the advancement, retention and engagement of women.
