Sue Kench, a partner in our Property, Construction and Environment team in Sydney, took out the top prize in the Real Estate category while Robyn Chalmers, who retired from the firm in 2010, was acknowledged for her outstanding career with the lifetime achievement award.
Overall, Mallesons had a total of five nominations, the highest of any Australian firm. Our other finalists included partners Alison Lansley for the Corporate Governance category, Nicola Wakefield Evans for the Energy and Natural Resources category and Caroline Coops in the Competition/ Antitrust category.
Incoming Mallesons Chief Executive, Stuart Fuller said “We are thrilled to have been so successful in these prestigious awards. The number of nominations reflects our reputation in the Asian region as a leading law firm and we were particularly pleased to see Robyn Chalmers honoured for her stellar legal and community work over her illustrious career.”
