Renae Lattey is the Chief Executive Partner, for Mallesons.
She leads the firm’s Executive Committee and is responsible for the firm’s strategy - which is to be the top-tier independent law firm from Australia, a full-service firm trusted on the most complex and consequential matters across our region and around the world.
Prior to her appointment as Chief Executive Partner, Australia, Renae was the Managing Partner, Clients and Mergers & Acquisitions. In this role, Renae oversaw the firm's client and sector strategy, focusing on transforming the client experience.
Before her time in management, Renae established a strong international profile having acted for major telecommunications clients throughout the Asia Pacific, particularly on projects in Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand as well as in UK and Europe.
Her work included advice to regional governments on World Bank telecommunications projects in developing countries and advising international communications providers on the Australian regulatory environment. She is ranked as Eminent Practitioner by Chambers TMT: Telecommunications 2023 in Asia-Pacific, and Leading Individual by Legal 500: IT & Telecoms 2023 in Australia.
Renae is a member of the Business Council of Australia, Chief Executive Women and sits on the Boards of the Corporate Mental Health Alliance and the Australia-China Relations Institute and Asia Society’s Advisory Council.
