Mark's client list boasts a number of leading Australian and global private equity players, and he has represented clients with interests in a wide range of industries, including media, digital, healthcare, professional services, real assets, manufacturing, financial services, education, food & beverages and transport.
Mark has been ranked as a leading practitioner in Private Equity (Band 1) in Chambers Global Guide to the Legal Profession in 2012-2025 and Best Lawyers in Australia in 2008-2026. Mark has also been named the Best Lawyers' "Lawyer of the Year" for Private Equity in 2013, 2017 and 2026.

- Quadrant Private Equity: on many of its investments including Estia, ICON Cancer Care, Rockpool Dining Group, Fitness First, Goodlife Gyms, Jetts Fitness, QScan Group, Experience Australia Group, Junior Adventure Group, FTZ, myHomecare, Carlisle Health, EMM, CCA and Fullerton Heath Australia.
- KKR and KKR Credit on many matters including the public to private acquisitions of Pepper Group, Perpetual Trustees, Vocus, SAI and Treasury Wines and other acquisitions or bids for Healthscope, MYOB, Probe Group, Seven Media Group, Santanol, Australian VenueCo and Sundrop Farms.
- Affinity Private Equity: on its leveraged JV of Velocity Frequent Flyer (VFF), its acquisitions of TEG (Ticketek) and Scottish Pacific and the subsequent sales of VFF and TEG.
- Brookfield Capital Partners on its bid for Healthscope.
