David Ellis is an energy specialist with a focus on energy markets, networks, public policy and the development, acquisition and financing of large energy projects.

David advises government and industry in navigating the complexities of Australia’s energy markets and the broader Australian energy transition. His clients benefit from deep technical understanding and commercial pragmatism, along with a keen ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms.

Beyond providing legal advice, David supports the industry through his work with the Australian Institute of Energy.
