Jie Zhang is a Special Counsel in the Sydney office of Mallesons where she specialises in structured finance and securitisation transactions.
Jie acts for a broad range of clients including financiers, borrowers, issuers and trustees in connection with their domestic and international debt capital markets transactions.
Jie’s transaction experience includes:
- Acting for the treasury teams of banks such as AMP Bank, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, HSBC and Westpac on their residential mortgage or auto securitisation programmes and covered bond programmes;
- Acting for a range of non-bank originators including Liberty Financial , Resimac, Pepper Group, RedZed in respect of multiple securitisation programmes including Rule 144A transactions and foreign denominated note issuances;
- Acting for a range of other non-bank originators in connection with all aspects of their public and private securitisation programmes, including, Metro Finance, Now Finance, ORDE Financial, Harmoney and others.
Jie has also worked in the Mallesons offices of Hong Kong and Shanghai.
