His private capital expertise lies across the full range of private capital transactions - MBOs / LBOs, public takeovers, private M&A and securities offerings.
Mark maintains one of the deepest PE client rosters in Australia and is regularly sought out on the most complex PE transactions. His client list boasts a number of leading Australian and global private equity players, and he has represented clients with interests in a wide range of industries, including media, digital, healthcare, professional services, real assets, manufacturing, financial services, education, food & beverages and transport.
Mark has been ranked as a leading practitioner in Private Equity (Band 1) in Chambers Global Guide to the Legal Profession in 2012-2026 and Best Lawyers in Australia in 2008-2026.

- Blackstone: on various transactions including the acquisition of AirTrunk and the disposal of DCI.
- EQT: on various investments including Metlifecare, Levande, Five Good Friends and Fitness Passport.
- KKR and KKR Credit: on many matters including the public to private acquisitions of Pepper Group, Perpetual Trustees, Vocus, SAI and Treasury Wines and other acquisitions or bids for Probe Group, MYOB, Seven Media Group, Santanol, Australian VenueCo and Sundrop Farms.
- Permira: on the sale of I-MED.
- Quadrant Private Equity: on many of its investments including Carlisle Health, Estia, ICON Cancer Care, Rockpool Dining Group, Fitness First, Goodlife Gyms, Jetts Fitness, QScan Group, Experience Australia Group, Junior Adventure Group, FTZ, myHomecare, EMM Consulting, CCA and Partnered Health.
