Naomi is a Senior Associate in the Mallesons Private Capital team. She advises sponsors, institutional investors, portfolio companies and corporates on private M&A and strategic transactions, including co-investments, divestments and restructures.
Naomi’s experience spans asset-backed businesses, including transaction involving core-plus investment strategies, as well as digital infrastructure, financial services and telecommunications. She supports clients across the investment lifecycle, from platform investments and bolt-on acquisitions to carve-outs and exits.
Prior to joining Mallesons, Naomi was in-house counsel in the mergers and acquisitions team at Telstra, one of Australia’s largest ASX-listed companies. At Telstra, she advised on high-value strategic domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestments across telecommunications infrastructure, digital infrastructure, health technology and media services, including transactions that supported the group’s expansion into strategic markets and strengthened its core capabilities.
Naomi brings a client-side perspective to private capital transactions. Her in-house M&A experience involved advising on strategic transactions from their earliest stages, helping translate commercial priorities into executable deal strategy. She understands what it takes to move from strategy to execution - protecting value, managing risk and maintaining momentum through complex transaction processes.
Naomi’s recent experience includes acting on mandates involving leading sponsors, institutional investors and corporates, including KKR, Aware Super, Betashares, Magellan and EBOS.
