Australia’s top-tier independent law firm Mallesons has appointed tax partner Sarah Shaw to lead and grow our national indirect tax practice, further strengthening our market-leading tax practice.
Sarah is a highly regarded indirect tax specialist, with particular expertise in stamp duty and land tax.
Based in Sydney and Melbourne, Sarah advises clients on indirect tax issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, privatisations, restructurings, capital raisings, funds, leasing and financing arrangements.
Her appointment further enhances Mallesons' market-leading tax capability, which is consistently recognised for advising on many of Australia's most significant and complex transactions, projects and disputes. The firm's tax team works seamlessly across corporate, M&A, real estate, private capital, infrastructure, energy and financial services matters, delivering integrated advice on high-value, strategically important matters for our clients.
