King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has acted on WorleyParsons Limited's (WorleyParsons) pro rata accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer (ANREO) of new ordinary shares to existing shareholders.

The KWM team, consisting of partner David Friedlander, special counsel Amanda Isouard and solicitor Gemma McMahon advised the joint lead managers.

The offer consists of an accelerated institutional rights issue and a retail rights issue to raise approximately $2.9 billion to fund its major US-based acquisition announced today.

Commenting on the offer, David Friedlander said: "It has been great to work with WorleyParsons and the joint lead managers again on what should be a transformative transaction for the company.  We have acted for the lead managers on major equity raisings for WorleyParsons repeatedly now."

KWM previously acted on WorleyParsons' $322 million ANREO in 2017 and on raisings in the last decade.
