KWM advises Gladstone Ports Corporation to favourable class action resolution after 8-year defence

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) on the settlement of a long-running class action in the Queensland Supreme Court, with GPC securing a significant payment towards its legal costs. The settlement, that binds the plaintiffs and group members, was approved on 27 October by the Supreme Court of Queensland and brings to an end a long running dispute over whether or not alleged environmental harm could be sheeted home to GPC.
