  • advised Commonwealth Bank of Australia on the sale of its remaining approximately 5% shareholding in Bank of Hangzhou Co., Ltd for RMB¥4.3 billion.
  • assisted the Australian Banking Association in its development of a new version of its code of practice, which sets a new standard of customer service for Australia’s banks.
  • supported Greater Bank Limited on its merger with Newcastle Permanent Building Society Limited, renamed Newcastle Greater Mutual Group Ltd.
  • advised QSuper in its landmark merger with Sunsuper, creating Australian Retirement Trust with over $200 billion in assets
  • collaborated with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association to publish a new whitepaper that sets out the practical steps for developing smart derivative contracts.

This transaction represents the largest home loan portfolio sale globally.
